BIG NEWS: Madras High Court says Non-Hindus can't enter Tamil Nadu temples as temples are not Picnic spots.
Court also directed the Tamil Nadu HR&CE department to install boards in all Hindu temples, stating that non-Hindus are not permitted beyond the 'Kodimaram' (flagpole) area.
"If a non-Hindu seeks to visit a particular deity in a temple, the authorities shall obtain an undertaking from the individual that he/she has faith in the deity, and would follow the customs and practices of Hinduism and of the temple" Justice S. Srimathy
